IMPROVED PUBLIC REALM

We are working closely with Sainsbury’s to improve the area around our site and the supermarket, by making it more accessible for pedestrians and cyclists, increasing visibility to design out anti-social behaviour and providing a lush green space with trees and planting; helping to create an ecologically rich environment.

SAFE & SECURE DESIGN

Our scheme will design out crime, by removing dead spaces that have become a magnet for anti-social behaviour. The ground floor will be fully accessible for pedestrians and brought to life with new retail or café space.

SYMPATHETIC TO HERITAGE LISTING

Our updated designs actively respond to the recent heritage listing of the Sainsbury’s and Grand Union Walk buildings and celebrate the Nicholas Grimshaw designed architecture.

ENLIVEN KENTISH TOWN ROAD

We are integrating the building and streetscape with wider pavements and increased planting as well as an enhanced retail offer on the ground-floor. This will activate and enliven Kentish Town Road.

WINTER GARDEN

The addition of a lush winter garden at the heart of the building will create a calm atmosphere; with the aim of promoting wellbeing in the workplace.
